The Mardi Himal Trek begins from Phedi after 1 hour driving from the nature land Pokhara. Before heading towards  Phedi, you will be delighted by the scenarios of Pokhara valley. The trail goes steeping up to Australian Camp and slightly down to Pothana and again up to Deurali. Similarly, the trail forwards to the Forest Camp, Low Camp, High Camp and Mardi Himal Base CampHigh. The trail goes along small winding paths where you sight the overwhelming and picturesque scenario of rhododendron, magnolia, pines and oak trees. This trail is also famous for sighting the national bird of Nepal i.e. Pheasant (Danphe). Even small things found on the route make the trekking more delightful and pleasant.

Details Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu (1300m) and transfer to Hotel.
The representative of Nepal Himalayas Trekking. Ltd will be at Tribhuvan International Airport to  welcome and receive you. We make a short drive to our hotel. After you freshen up, we make a visit to our office which is located at Thamel to discuss about the trips and routes. Then our representative takes you around Thamel and introduced the needed shops, ATMs, and so on for you. The evening in our hotel will be the most overwhelming moment for you. The welcome dinner will be hosted by Adventure Himalaya Circuits and you will be served by Nepali cuisine.

Day 02: Sightseeing of Kathmandu Valley
A day in Kathmandu valley will be the most mesmerizing and delightful day for you as we make a whole day trip around Kathmandu valley including its twin sisters Lalitpur and Bhaktapur. You will be taken to the important places of these three cities such as Seven Monument Zones (Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar square, Pashupatinath Temple, Baudhanath, Swayambhunath and Changunarayan) and many more.

Day 03: Drive or fly to Pokhara, Sightseeing Pokhara valley (25 minutes- flight): (204.4km / 6-7 hours-by bus).
We will make a drive or fly to Pokhara according to your preferences. It will take 25 minutes in flight and the scenic view of mountains, lands and villages will make your flight more interesting. You can also take around 6-7 hours ride in a deluxe tourist bus to reach Pokhara. If you are keen about seeing landscapes, terraced lands, rivers, villages and so on, this route would be the best one. After reaching Pokhara, we will make a drive to the different places such as Fewa Lake, Begnas Lake, David’s fall, Gupteshwor Mahadev Temple, Mahendra Cave, and Peace Pagoda and so on. Pokhara, the city of Lakes, will make your visit to Nepal memorable.

Day 04: Drive to Phedi and trek to Deurali (2100m/ 4-5 hours trek)
 In the very morning, after taking breakfast we will make an hour drive towards Phedi. An adventurous journey with slight widening paths begins from Phedi. The trail passes by the beautiful typical villages, terraced lands, streams and forests before reaching Dhampus. We will take lunch in tea houses at Dhampus. The tea houses serve you the typical  Nepali foods, dumplings and noodles. It takes 4-5 hours to reach Deurali from Phedi. Deurali is a small village, located in the ridge of Annapurna South, Mardi Himal and Machhapuchhre (Fish-Tail). The day ends at Deurali village.

Day 05: Deurali to Forest Camp (2,520m/ 6-7 hours trek)
The trail passes through the dotted pine trees. The forests are shining with the blooming rhododendrons. Rhododendron, the national flower of Nepal, blossoms in the month of March-April-May. Whereas these months are also best for trekking. The way between Deurali to Forest Camp make you dive in the lap of the nature. The tree lines begin to be thinner from these ranges. The trek ends after reaching Forest Camp.

Day 06: Trek to Forest Camp to Low Camp (2970m/ 5-6 hours trek)
The mesmerizing scenarios of high hills, dense forests, shrubs and Kharkas (Campsite) begin from this range. You will allure by the panoramas of snowcapped mountains, high hills and Himalayan ranges. You will astonish by the beautiful scenario of Machhapuchhre or Fish-Tail Mountain in the dawn and dusk.

Day 07: Low Camp to High Camp (3540m/ 3-4 hours trek)
The captivating scenarios, breath-taking sights and risky trails inaugurate the adventure in your journey from Low Camp. Isolated rhododendrons, shrubs and snowcapped mountains enriched the natural beauty. You might also sight the Pheasant or Danphe, the national bird of Nepal in this trail. South Annapurna, Machhapuchhre, and Himchuli along with Ghandruk Village, Fishtail Base Camp, and Chhomrong village are seen from this trail.  Ensuring your health, we recommend you to drink more water and walk less to avoid high altitude sickness.

Day 08: High Camp to Upper Viewpoint, returns back to High Camp (4250m/ 2-3 hours)
The trail goes along to Mardi Himal Base Camp via Upper Viewpoint from High Camp walking 2-3 hours. The trail is well established, widening, and steep and also full of thrill. After the hurdles and passion, the Mardi Himal Base Camp gives  you the breathtaking ventures. You will sight Mardi Himal (5587m), Annapurna I (8091m), Annapurna south (7219m), Hiunchuli (6441m), Baraha Shikhar (Mt. Fang) (7647m), Tent Peak (5695m), Singhachuli (6501m), Machapuchhre (6993m) and others from very near. We will return back to the High camp and stay overnight.

Day 09: High Camp to Sidhing Village (1700m/ 6-7 hours)
High Camp to Sidhing Village is another route for the trek. This let you to experience something new. And also by taking this route, we make a circuit. It takes almost 6 to 7 hours to reach Sidhing village. Sidhing village is an example of typical Nepali village. Their culture, food and hospitality heal your tiredness.

Day 10: Trek to Lumre, drive to Pokhara and fly to Kathmandu (2-3 hours trek, 2 hours drive, 25 minutes fly)
This will be the final trek of this package. After taking breakfast at Sidhing village, we head towards Lumre passing different villages such as Ghalel, Lwong, and Khoramukh. The trail is flat enough and the trek is easier than before. We pass through the mesmerizing, picturesque and overwhelming scenarios. Almost walking for 2 to 3 hours we reach the road and take drive to Pokhara. Within the scheduled plan, we fly for Kathmandu.This is the last day of your in Kathmandu. We arrange the farewell dinner along with the representatives and office member.

Day 11: Departure 
With precious memories and special moments, excepting to see you again we bid you farewell. Our representative drops you at Tribhuvan International Airport and sees off for the final departure. Thank you for being part of Nepal Himalayas Trekking.
