Manaslu Trek

The Manaslu trek is one of the remote treks of Nepal that takes you through the traditional villages inhabited by ethnic minorities, passing through the dense forest full of rhododendrons, crossing several rivers and streams via suspension bridges, and through narrow passes, and pathways. Some of the regions in Manaslu region are restricted which requires you to have special permits to do the trek.

You are required to trek in a group of at least two members and must be accompanied by either a porter guide or a professional guide. You are also required to take the Restricted Area Permit (RAP), Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP), and Manaslu Conservation Area Project (MCAP). However, if you do want to explore the Tsum Valley, you are required to have a special permit.

March to May and mid-September to mid-December are the best months to do this trek. October is the busiest month in the year that attracts the maximum number of trekkers, even if it is low in comparison to other classic treks in Nepal. Nepal Himalayas Trekking is a leading trekking and tour agency in Nepal that has the best record of successful trekking history.
