The Everest Base Camp Trek is Moderate to Challenging, suitable for trekkers with average fitness levels. Daily hiking spans 5 to 7 hours, with gradual elevation gain and proper acclimatization days.

No technical climbing is required, but mental preparedness and physical stamina are essential.

Maximum Altitude / Elevation

Kala Patthar (5,545 meters / 18,192 ft) – The highest point on the trek with incredible sunrise views of Mount Everest.

Everest Base Camp (5,364 meters / 17,598 ft) – The ultimate destination, where climbers prepare for Everest Expeditions.

Route – Classic Khumbu Trail

Kathmandu – Lukla – Phakding – Namche Bazaar – Tengboche – Dingboche – Lobuche – Gorakshep – Everest Base Camp – Kala Patthar – Pheriche – Namche – Lukla – Kathmandu

Start Point: Lukla (2,860m) – via a thrilling mountain flight from Kathmandu or Ramechhap

End Point: Lukla – returning the same route

Preparation for Everest Base Camp Trek

Physical Training
