Itinerary Details

Day 1Arrival in Kathmandu, Transfer to the hotel.

After arrival in Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, you will fulfill the custom and visa formalities. You will then be transferred to three-star hotel. The remainder of the afternoon will be at leisure. A pre-trek briefing will be held in evening. Enjoy the delicious dinner and have a pleasant stay.
 

Day 2Kathmandu Heritage tour and overnight at Kathmandu Hotel.

After breakfast we will preparing fo full day Kathmandu heritage sightseeing. Places are (Pashupatinath temple - Hindu temple, Monkey temple, Buddhist Stupa- dedicated for buddhist monastry & Patan Durbar Square. And then drive back to Hotel for overnight. On that day we will discuss about our trip too & some shopping for trekking clothes. 

Day 3Kathmandu to Lukla (2710m) flight, trek to Phakding (2652 m). O/n at lodge

Catch early morning flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. It takes 45 minute of scenic flight to land at Lukla. This is named Tenzing- Hillary Airport in the memory of Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay who were among the first to climb Everest. This is considered as one of the best air routes in the world. You will get views of scenic eastern Himalaya throughout the way.  Assemble the crew and descend to Dudh Kosi River. Walk through crop fields to Ghat and proceed further to Phakding for overnight stay. Get close-up view of Kusum Kangru from Thadokoshi.
 

Day 4Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3446 m). O/n at lodge

Cross the suspension bridge over Dhudh Koshi River. The entry point for Sagarmatha National Park lies in Monjo village. Take lunch in Jorsale village (2740m). After a brief walk along Dudhakoshi river, cross the bridge in Larja Dobhan (2830m) and follow the escalating trail through pine forest to Namche Bazaar which is the capital of Sherpa land. It is also known as the gateway to Everest Khumbu Region.

Day 5Acclimatization Day in Namche Bazaar. O/n at lodge.

This is a rest day. Visit the Headquarters of Sagarmatha National Park and get information on the park. Climb to the top of hill to get views of Imja Khola Valley. The land shifts from narrow lowland valleys to wide valleys that are covered in glaciers. Get views of Taweche peak (6542 m), Thamserku Mountain (6808 m), Ama Dablam (6856 m), Nuptse (7896 m), Kantega (6685 m)  and Lhotse (8511 m). Side trip can be arranged to Everest View Hotel from where we can get views of Everest and Ama Dablam mountains. We can also explore Khumjung village. Side trip can also be arranged to Syangboche (3880m) which gives stunning views of Everest (8848m), Lhotse (8516m), Ama Dablam(6814m), Thamserku(6618m) and other mountains.
 

Day 6Namche Bazaar to Tyangnboche (3867 m). O/n at lodge.

Enter the forest area. Enjoy the fascinating sight of national bird of Nepal and Himalayan mammal- Thar. Cross the yak pasture to reach Kyangjuma (3550m) and descend to Dudh Koshi River. Cross the suspension bridge. Enjoy the view of Kangtega (6783m) Mountain. Take the steep trail to Tengboche (3860m). Enjoy the sunset view from Tyangboche village and visit Tengboche Monastery. Monastery in Tengboche is the largest in Khumbu region. Go to Tengboche Bakery where you can place order for apple pie and chocolate brownies.
 

Day 7Tyangboche to Namche Bazaar. O/n at lodge.

Retrace the route from Tengboche to Namche. There will be plenty of opportunity of a photoshoot and Himalayan wildlife view as the route progresses through the pine and rhododendron forest.

Day 8Namche Bazaar to Lukla. O/n at lodge.

Lower down from Namche Bazaar and pass through the forest. The trail stretches in and out of Himalayan villages of Jorsale, Monjo and Benkar. Cross the suspension bridge over Dudhkoshi River, Passing Phakding village and overnight at Lukla. 

Day 9Lukla to Kathmandu Flight. O/n at hotel in Kathmandu.

50 minutes flight from Lukla in a twin otter plane will take us to Kathmandu. You are on your own in afternoon. Explore Kathmandu.
 

Day 10Departure.

After assisting you in last minute preparation, our representative will transfer you to Kathmandu Airport three hours before your flight. Safe journey!!!
