Langtang Trek Quick Booking

Langtang trek is one of the most popular trekking destinations in Nepal. Trek in Langtang is frequently organized trekking package which is closer to Kathmandu and easier in comparison with other trekking routes of Nepal. Trekking in Langtang valley offers you the wonderful views of snowcapped mountains, rugged rocks, grassy lands and meadows along with dense pine forests. Langtang trek lies on the north part of Nepal or southern part of Tibet which is 147 km far from Kathmandu valley. Langtang trekking starts from Kathmandu valley and ends also at Kathmandu valley too.
Well, Langtang Trekking lets you explore the typical culture of Tamang and Sherpa people. In fact, Langtang valley has become more famous since the British mountaineer Bill Tilman described this valley as the most beautiful valley in the world. Langtang valley is also known as the valley of glaciers. This trek starts from Syabrubesi, and it takes about eight hours drive to reach there from Kathmandu. Langtang is situated just in the south of Tibetan border. From Langtang, you can have the magnificent views of prominent peaks including Langtang Lirung (7246m), Gangchhenpo (6388m), Dokpu (5930m), Naya Kangri (5846m), Yala Peak (5500m) and many others. Along with those amazing views of mountains and picturesque landscapes, we can also get a change to observe the rich biodiversity in the region. Langtang National Park has protected many endangered species of flora and fauna.

  • Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu(1400).
  • Day 02: Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing.
  • Day 03: Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1420m) by road service about 9 hours.
  • Day 04: Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel (2470m).
  • Day 05: Lama Hotel to Langtang Village (3496m).
  • Day 06: Langtang Village to Kyanjyang Gompa (3850m).
  • Day 07: Exploration day around kyanjyang Gompa.
  • Day 08: Trek back to Lama Hotel (2470m).
  • Day 09: Lama Hotel to Syabrubesi (1420m).
  • Day 10: Syabrubesi to Kathmandu (1400m).
  • Day 11: Final Departure.

Details Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu
Today, upon your arrival Tribhuvan International Airport, our representatives from Nepal Himalayas Trekking will welcome you and transfer the hotel like ( Hotel Holy Himalaya )



Day 02: Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing
With the help of our experienced tour guide, you will spend this whole day for Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing. The main places will be: Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath, Bauddhanath, Kathmandu Durbar Square and Patan Durbar Square among others.





Day 03: Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1420m) by road service about 9 hours
Today, in the morning, we will drive you to Syabrubesi from Kathmandu. It will take about 8 hours to reach there.






Day 04: Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel (2470m)
Now, we trek ahead crossing through the suspension bridge and heading precipitously along a stream. The river we are following is mostly the Langtang River and we will enjoy the walk going through the beautiful forest of rhododendron, oaks and bamboo. This will take us to Lama Hotel finally.







Day 05: Lama Hotel to Langtang Village (3496m)
After having breakfast, we will continue ouru trip to our next destination and our next destination for today will be Langtang. After the 5-6 hours of trekking, we will reach at the large settlement of Langtang.







Day 06: Langtang Village to Kyanjyang Gompa (3850m)
You pass through the tiny village and stone-built houses. Toda is going to be a short walk allowing us to acclimatize and explore the surrounding. Don't forget that this place is famous for cheese and curd.







Day 07: Exploration day around kyanjyang Gompa
Kyanjin Ri and Tserko Ri are the good viewpoints in the area that you can climb. After the breakfast, we will visit Tserko Ri for spectacular view of the Langtang Lirung, Langtang Range, Kinshung, Yansa Tsenji and the foot of the huge Lirung glacier.





Day 08: Trek back to Lama Hotel (2470m)
Today, you retract to Lama Hotel. We will trek all the way downhill but you will see fantastic views of towering mountain.









Day 09: Lama Hotel to Syabrubesi (1420m)
Today, we again will retract to the Syabrubesi from Lama Hotel. We will stay overnight at Syabrubesi tonight.







Day 10: Syabrubesi to Kathmandu (1400m)
Today, after having breakfast in the morning, we drive from Syabrubesi to Kathmandu. After 8-9 hours of driving, we will reach at Kathmandu. In the evening, we will enjoy the farewell dinner party.




Day 11: Final Departure
Today, after having breakfast, we will accompany you to the airport for the returning flight. We bid you farewell at the airport hoping to see you again!
