How can the Everest Base Camp trek be made quick

1. By using flights and helicopters to the nearest airport.
There are faster means of transportation to the starting point of the Everest base camp. Lukla is considered the starting point of the EBC trek. It has the nearest airport where one can fly straight from Kathmandu. It provides a few days head start to the trek. Also, one can use the helicopter pick-up service to Kathmandu after reaching Everest base camp. The helicopter pick-up can also be used to shorten the days of a trek without missing the adventurous trek.

2. Walk without wasting time.
In order to complete the trek in the minimum time, one should be able to walk at a fast pace with very few breaks. Unnecessary stops and unfollowing the given itinerary can lengthen the trek. Quick treks like this require immense physical and mental fitness as it is the traditional route to Everest base camp. One may need to skip the overnight stops and push their physical abilities to reduce the number of days of trek.

3. Trek without getting acclimatized.
To complete this trek in less days, the rapid ascent is done without any acclimatization days. Above an altitude of 2500m, anyone can get AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness). In order to prevent AMS, one should take care of their health, have better immunity and fitness, eat nutritious food, hydrate, and, if necessary, take medicines while doing this trek.

4. Especially made itineraries.
Skilled professionals have shortened the itineraries to Everest Base Camp in order to provide trekkers with an unforgettable experience in fewer days. These itineraries are customized in a way that manages the time of the trek efficiently to shorten the travel days for those who have limited time.

What are the essentials for the Everest Base Camp short trek

1. Good trekking equipment.
Good trekking gear is extremely important while trekking. The slight failure of the gears may result in difficult and life-threatening situations. The extreme climatic conditions and rough terrain require warm clothes, good quality trekking shoes, bags and other personal belongings.

2. Physical fitness
Trekking requires good physical fitness as one needs to deal with challenging land structures and a harsh climate. It is not for people with health complications, as modern health services are hard to access in these remote areas. These high elevation regions may result in AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness), which is prone to people with health issues.

3. Mental and psychological preparation
Nothing is hard or impossible. If a person has the sheer will and determination to work harder, things get easier. To complete the Everest base camp short trek, one needs to be prepared mentally. One should believe in their abilities.

4. Choosing the Best Time

It is extremely necessary to decide the best time to travel to these harsh climates. As climates can be unpredictable, it may interfere with the itinerary of the trek. Weather is the primary cause of these treks & postponement and cancellation. The best time to do this trek is when the skies are clear. As this trek requires air travel, it would not be possible to operate during bad weather conditions. And the serene landscapes may be covered in fog.

5. Skilled guides and porters
It is very important to hire experienced and government-certified guides and porters. It ensures safety and security in the event of emergencies and unforeseen circumstances, as they are trained to tackle these problems.

6. Insurance, permits, and reservations
There are many risks in these areas, which may cost you a fortune. In order to minimize the loss during such an unfortunate situation, insurance is a must. There are permits such as TIMS, Sagarmatha National Park entry permits, and local government permits required to trek in the Everest regions. Additional Information

The Everest base camp trek itself is one of the most challenging treks done in Nepal. It requires good physical fitness as it has some rough trails that ascend very quickly. The Everest base camp short trek is more challenging as the trek is completed in a minimum days via the same route. The quick ascent to the higher elevation and skipping the overnight stops will provide a bit more pressure and strain on the body.

The best times to trek in the Everest region are during the autumn and spring seasons, from September to December and February to June. But the best time to do the Everest Base Camp short trek is when the sky is clear, which makes the mountain views more soothing and the air transport required to shorten the itinerary does not get postponed or canceled.

Amazing Short Everest Base Camp Trek

Trekked two days to get to Namche Bazaar then an acclimation hike on day 3 to Hotel Everest View then back to Namche Bazaar for night three! Day two was a long up hill but not unbearable. Was happy to see Namche! The climb up to Hotel Everest View was steep for an hour or more. Watch them knees on the way down! The whole place is magical!

Incredible Everest Base Camp Short Trek with Nepal Himalayas Trekking - Great Team & Affordable cost

We have just completed The Everest Base Camp Short Trek for 10 days with Nepal Himalayas Trekking and I was blown away at how amazing everything was from start to finish this was my first trek in Nepal. It’s such an incredible experience to hike to Everest with the NHT team and I believe a large part of my experience was due to Nepal Himalayas Trekking and my amazing guide Dasharath and Porter.

It was really nice to just hike and I did not have to worry about anything, they all took care of my time in the mountains, and they have done an amazing job taking care of good food, arranging the best tea houses/flights, and everything. I felt so safe and comfortable trekking with them, It’s all taken care of by the company in the best way. The teamwork is amazing and I would say they are the best and very professional.

Our guide Dasharath was extremely knowledgeable of the mountains, and trekking, and took care of me like I didn’t expect. He seemed to be prepared for everything, whether it is just information to share, medicine to help one of us or hangout and just having fun. By the end of the trip, we felt like a family. Then there was the porter, they are very impressed with the weight they carry and the ease they make it look.

Our porter Mr. Nakul is so humble and very strong, he also went the extra mile and would also be there to help at the tea houses and restaurants along the way answering questions, refilling our waters, and constantly working alongside Sujal to make our trip perfect. We really miss this team and can’t wait to come back to Nepal and work with the same team for the next Manaslu Circuit Trek in Manaslu Region!

If anyone of you are interested in trekking in Nepal including Everest Base Camp Trek or any trek in Nepal,

We highly recommend Nepal Himalayas Trekking, you will not regret working with this team, and ask Dasharath as your guide if he is available for your trek in Nepal, he is an extremely friendly and knowledgeable guide with a kind-hearted. Thank you very much Nepal Himalayas Trekking family for making my trip memorable, You guys are a really highly recommend & trustworthy trekking agency in Nepal. We have no words to express your entire exceptional job. For sure, we will see you soon in Nepal.
