Ganesh Himal Trek is one of the non-touristy trekking trails of Manaslu Trekking Region. This trek offers you the superb views of majestic Himalayas including Ganesh Himal, Bauddha Himal, Langtang, Himchuli along with other enumerable peaks. The highest access of Ganesh Himal Trek is Singala Pass (4200m) and Pansang La Pass (4100m). Sure, Singala Pass, Jaisal Kunda, Pansang Bhanjyang, Jyamrung will be the finest view-points in Ganesh Himal Trek. This trek will also provide you an opportunity to observe and explore the different ways of life culture and make you feel from so close the rural Nepalese life in small villages.

Ganesh Himal Panorama Trekking route follows through Pine and Rhododendron forests and numerous passes. The awesome scenic views of Langtang, Gosaikunda, Ganesh Himal, Manaslu, and Annapurna range will thrill your heart and soul. The major highlights of this trek are: the rural village life, culture, terraced farming, diverse ethnic groups with unique culture and religious practices along with waterfalls and hot springs; and they are more than enough to inspire a trek in this area with delight in the heart. During Ganesh Himal Panorama Trek, you will come to experience simple and welcoming village life, incredible wilderness and the historical palace of Gorkha.

Itinerary Details

Day 1Arrival and transfer to hotel.

Today, upon your arrival Tribhuvan International Airport, our representatives from Nepal Himalayas Trekking will welcome you and transfer the hotel.

Day 2Sightseeing around Kathmandu Valley and make preplan for the trek.

With the help of our experienced tour guide, you will spend this whole day for Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing. The main places will be: Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath, Bauddhanath, Kathmandu Durbar Square and Patan Durbar Square among others.

Day 3Drive to Betrawati & trek to Chapdanda (1220m)

Today, we will drive from Kathmandu to Betrawat Bazaar for approximately 5 hours, passing through Trishuli Bazaar en route. Trishuli Bazar is shopping center for local people, mix caste people from different village. We then start trekking from Betrawati Bazaar to finally reach Chapdanda.

Day 4Trek to Bhalche

Today, an easy walk and then short climb takes us to kalawale village for lunch. After lunch we proceed to the big Tamang village of Bhalche for our overnight camp.

Day 5Trek to Gonga

We take an easy walk from Balche village through a forest and camp with the peaks of Langtang Lirung and Gosainkunda in good view. We will stay at Gonga overnight.

Day 6Trek to Rupchet

Today, we walk through rhododendron forests to camp at Rupchet, a cattle pasture.

Day 7Acclimatization day, and hiking around the valley.

Today will be the whole day acclimatization at Rupchet. And you will take your time to explore around the Rupchet area.

Day 8Trek to Phedi (3546m) via Singla pass

Today, we will trek upwards on the Singla pass (4600m). The Singla pass offers spectacular views of Langtang Lirung, Ganesh Himal, Baudha Peak, Himalchuli, Machhapuchare, Annapurna South, and Annapurna II. After that, we trek to Phedi for overnight stay.
 

Day 9Trek to Pansang Bhanjyang

Today, after having breakfast in the morning, we trek towards Pansang Bhajyang which will take around 6 hours to reach there, where we will stay overnight.

Day 11Trek to Tipling

Today, we descend to Tipling, a large village that hosts two Buddhist gombas and both a Protestant and Catholic church. Along a ridge top to the east is a gomba and cremation ground for both Buddhists and Christians lined with colorful flags. Being a majority of Tamang people it has beautiful Tamang culture show.
 

Day 12Trek to Sertung

Today we descend to cross the Adha Khola on a box bridge and ascend to the sister villages of Shertung and Chalish, regally overlooking the fertile river valley and abundant fields. Shertung is inhabited mainly by Tamang. The name Shertung means 'place of gold'. According to a legend, two brothers in search of gold were led here by a dream and thus the settlement was born. We will stay overnight at Sertung.
 

Day 13Trek to Sapchet

Today, we again trek gradually downhill from Sertung. From Sertung, we pass by the forests and meadows and finally reach at Sapchet. We stay there overnight.

Day 14Trek to Darkha

Today, we make an early start from Sapchet. And after approx. 6-7 hours of trek, we will reach at Darkha for our overnight camp.

Day 15Trek to Lapang

From Darka, we again move forward and follow the trail gradually downhill, which will finally bring us to the village of Lapang after 6 hours. We will stay at Lapang overnight.

Day 16Trek to Khahare

Today, we have to move from Lapang and we make our start after having breakfast. We follow the trail which is gradually downhill to Khahare, where we will stay overnight.

Day 17Trek to Arughat

Today, from Khahare, we will start trekking to Arughat, which will take around 6 hours. We will have many things to view on the way. We will stay at Arughat tonight.

Day 18Drive to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.

Arughat marks the end of our Ganesh Himal Trek, so today, in the morning; we will drive back to Kathmandu. And in the evening, we will enjoy our farewell dinner party.

Day 19Final Departure

Today, after having breakfast, we will accompany you to the airport for the returning flight. We bid you farewell at the airport hoping to see you again!
