Upon arrival at the domestic terminal of Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be greeted by our Nepal Himalayas Trekking enthusiastic team.

They will transfer you to Kathmandu by private vehicle. Here you can rest at your hotel and recover from jet lag.You can then explore the area surrounding the hotel. On that day, you can walk around tourists hub area like Thamel & Kathmandu Durbar square.

Day 2 Kathmandu Heritage Tour | Kathmandu valley Sightseeing

After breakfast In the morning, get ready to explore the city of Kathmandu. We visit the "Monkey Temple", famous for the large number of monkeys that inhabit it. Also, this serene Buddhist monastery is situated on a hill overlooking the entire valley. And will explore at Kathmandu Durbar square

We continue to visit Pashupatinath Temple, the holy temple of Lord Shiva. If we have still time, then we will see the Boudhanath Stupa before returning to the hotel. And we will overnight at Kathmandu for 2nd night.

Day 3 Bhaktapur Durbar Square & Nagarkot Tour

Day 4 Fly to Lhasa (Tibet)

When you arrival at Lhasa Gongar Airport, you will be picked up by your Tibetan guide and transferred to your hotel. Drive through Lhasa, a city, which is located 3,550 meters above sea level at the foot of Mount Gephel.

The Lhasa is the administrative capital of the Tibetan Plateau. This ancient city is best known for being the home of the Dalai Lama's Potala Palace. In the early 7th century, King Srongtsen Gompo united many local tribes.After unification, he moved the capital from Yarlung to Lhasa and built the Potala Palace. Visit centuries-old Buddhist monasteries, palaces and bustling Barkhor Street, the famous local market district.

About 300,000 people live in the Lhasa region. Lhasa means "place of the gods". The main religion here is Tibetan Buddhism.Locals call it by another name, "Sunlit City". Pack warm clothes as a chill wind blows through the city. The average annual temperature is 7 degrees Celsius. Overnight in Lhasa.

Day 5 Explore | Sightseeing | Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street - Lhasa

The tour begins at the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Potala Palace, which is also the Dalai Lama's winter palace. It is 12,139 feet above sea level. It is a 13-storey building with more than 1,000 rooms, various statues, stupas, murals and artifacts.

Then continue to Jokhang Temple, another UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is the spiritual center of Buddhists in Tibet.Next to the temple is Barkhor Street, filled with pilgrims and street vendors selling traditional Tibetan items such as prayer wheels and jewelry. 

Day 6 Exploring Lhasa | Two important monasteries in Lhasa, Sera & Drepung

In the morning, tourists head to Drepung Monastery, which was one of the "three salutes" of the Gelugpa monasteries in Tibet and was founded in 1416. Ganden Palace is used as the Dalai Lama's palace in Drepung before moving to Potala Palace.

In the afternoon we visit Sera Monastery, which was one of the "big three" Gelugpa monasteries in Tibet and was founded in 1419. The high point is the monks' debate between 3pm and 5pm.

Day 7 Tour to Lhasa - Yamdrok Lake - Gyantse - Shigatse

After thoroughly exploring Lhasa, you will have the opportunity to lose yourself in the endless Tibetan landscape with a short hike along the turquoise waters of Yamdrok Lake, one of Tibet's three sacred lakes and the largest waterfowl habitat in southern Tibet.

Then we pass Karo La at 5010m and Simi La at Gyantse (approx. 3950m). Visit the nearby Pelkor Monastery and Kumbum Stupa (100,000 Buddha Pagoda) which was built in the 15th century and is located at the northwestern tip of Gyantse.

In the afternoon drive about 90 kilometers to Shigatse (3880 m), the second largest city in Tibet with 40,000 inhabitants and the traditional capital of Tsang. In Shigatse we visit Tashilhunpo Monastery, home of Tibet's second greatest incarnation, the Panchen Lama.

The tour begins at the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Potala Palace, which is also the Dalai Lama's winter palace. It is 12,139 feet above sea level. It is a 13-storey building with more than 1,000 rooms, various statues, stupas, murals and artifacts.

Then continue to Jokhang Temple, another UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is the spiritual center of Buddhists in Tibet.Next to the temple is Barkhor Street, filled with pilgrims and street vendors selling traditional Tibetan items such as prayer wheels and jewelry. 

Day 6 Exploring Lhasa | Two important monasteries in Lhasa, Sera & Drepung

In the morning, tourists head to Drepung Monastery, which was one of the "three salutes" of the Gelugpa monasteries in Tibet and was founded in 1416. Ganden Palace is used as the Dalai Lama's palace in Drepung before moving to Potala Palace.

In the afternoon we visit Sera Monastery, which was one of the "big three" Gelugpa monasteries in Tibet and was founded in 1419. The high point is the monks' debate between 3pm and 5pm.

Day 7 Tour to Lhasa - Yamdrok Lake - Gyantse - Shigatse

After thoroughly exploring Lhasa, you will have the opportunity to lose yourself in the endless Tibetan landscape with a short hike along the turquoise waters of Yamdrok Lake, one of Tibet's three sacred lakes and the largest waterfowl habitat in southern Tibet.

Then we pass Karo La at 5010m and Simi La at Gyantse (approx. 3950m). Visit the nearby Pelkor Monastery and Kumbum Stupa (100,000 Buddha Pagoda) which was built in the 15th century and is located at the northwestern tip of Gyantse.

In the afternoon drive about 90 kilometers to Shigatse (3880 m), the second largest city in Tibet with 40,000 inhabitants and the traditional capital of Tsang. In Shigatse we visit Tashilhunpo Monastery, home of Tibet's second greatest incarnation, the Panchen Lama.
