The days are warmer, with daytime temperatures ranging from 10°C to 20°C (50°F to 68°F) at lower altitudes. However, as you gain altitude, temperatures drop, and nights can be quite cold. This is also the time when the rhododendron forests are in full bloom, adding to the beauty of the trek.

Winter is the coldest time for the trek. The temperatures can drop significantly, especially at higher elevations, and snowfall is common. Trekking during the winter can be challenging due to the cold and the possibility of heavy snow, which can obstruct the trails and make them more difficult to navigate.
It's essential to note that the weather can be unpredictable in the mountains, and conditions can change rapidly. Always check the weather forecast before starting your trek and be prepared for a wide range of temperatures and conditions, especially if you plan to trek at higher altitudes. Additionally, consider hiring a local guide and porter, as they can provide valuable information and support to ensure a safe and enjoyable trek.
