Manaslu Trekking Permit are the fundamental documents for Manaslu Trek in Nepal. Without this Manaslu Trekking permit, there is not allowed to go in Manaslu region. Since, some of the areas in the Manaslu region falls under the restricted area declared by the government, you are required to have special permits, and other permits to do this trek. Restricted Area Permit (RAP), Annapurna Conservation Area (ACA) Permit, and Manaslu Conservation Area (MCA) Permit are some of the Manaslu trekking permit you are required to have. In addition to this, if you would like to explore the Tsum Valley, you are also required to have Tsum Valley Restricted Permit. It is mandatory for every trekker to have a TIMS card, however, if you already have a Restricted Area Permit (RAP), you don’t need to have the TIMS card in addition.

- Manaslu Conservation Area project Permit: $ 30 USD.
- Annapurna Conservation area project Permit: $ 30 USD.
- Manaslu Regulated Permit: $ 110 USD to $ 130 USD from (Spring to Autumn) Season.

The cost of RAP depends on the season; if you are trekking between September to November, you shall be charged US$ 130 for a week per person, after which, you shall be charged US$10 per person per day. Similarly, the cost of RAP during December to August is US$ 110 per week per person, after which you have to pay US$7 per day per person. Similarly, the cost of ACA and MCA is NPR 2,000 per person, respectively. Similarly, the cost of Tsum Valley Permit is US$35 for first 8 days during September to November, and is US$25 per person for first 8 days during December to August.
The Manaslu trekking permit isn’t refundable and transferrable, and such person who is entering into the conservation area has to abide with the National Park and Wildlife Conservation Act, 2029 B.S. and all the rules and regulations under it. Throughout your trek, you need to carry our permits and show them when an authorized personnel asks for it. You are required to have these permits before entering the conservation areas; they might not be available from any check post that comes during your route. However, you might also get the permits at the check posts, upon the 100% extra charge of the permits. You can get these permits in Kathmandu from the Nepal Tourism Board, in Pokhara from the Nepal Tourism Board, Tourist Service Centre, and in Lamjung from the ACAP Entry Permit Counter. Remember that you can only get the ACAP from centers other than Kathmandu.
