Manaslu trek route takes you through the remote and untouched part of Nepal offering you the most staggering views of snow-capped mountains, passing through several villages inhabited by ethnic communities, in off-the-beaten trails, staying at several teahouses through the trial. You shall be exploring the area of world's eighth highest mountain peak, Mt. Manaslu (8,163m). The trek starts after your arrival in Arughat via a drive from the Kathmandu Valley. Then, via Soti Khola, Labu Besi, Jagat, Ngyak, Ghap, Lho, you shall arrive at the beautiful village of Samagaon. Then, via Samdo, Dharmahala, you shall cross the Larkya La Pass, and arrive at Bimthang. Then, descending down to Tilje, passing Syange, you shall arrive at Besisahar, from where, catching a vehicle you shall return back to Kathmandu.

After the 7-8 hour drive from Kathmandu to Arughat, you shall start trekking off to Soti Khola the next day. Passing through a bridge, you shall ascend a ridge overlooking the Budhi Gandaki River and reach Khorsaani Village. Walking on a rocky trail, passing waterfalls, you shall descend down to Labu Besi Village inhabited by Gurung communities. Ascending uphill to Jagat, passing the Ghata Khola, climbing to Philim, you shall reach Ngyak. Walking in the dense forest, passing Dang Village, climbing to Rana Village, you shall reach to Ghap. Passing the Manrung Village, walking besides the Mani Walls, Chortens, you shall reach Lho. Then, descending to Thusang Khola, you shall make to Samagaon inhabited by Lamas. Next day, you shall make to Samdo. Leaving Dharmasala, you shall cross the Larkya La Pass and reach Bimthang. Via Tilje, Tal, Syange, you shall return to Besisahar, from where you shall catch a vehicle to Kathmandu.
You shall find the Manaslu trek route less crowded in comparison to other classic treks like the Annapurna circuit trek and Everest base camp trek. However, the trek has been getting more attention from trekkers lately. You shall enjoy this thrilling journey into the wilderness of Manaslu region. Though camping was necessary before the teahouses were built in this region before, you shall find plenty of teahouses throughout the trekking route. You shall gather the experience of making through six different climatic zones, from subtropical jungle, foothills, to cold and high ascents of making through Larkya La Pass at an altitude of 5,100m.
